8.1 Mundane Equipment
Mundane equipment is readily available in markets across the world.

Candle.
A large candle made of tallow. A candle emits a [SPHERE 3] of dim light. At the end of each hour make a 3+ check. On a failure the candle is exhausted. One inventory slot can hold three candles.
Torch.
A torch made of tar-soaked linen and a stick. A torch emits a [SPHERE 5] of dim light. At the end of each hour of use make a 6+ check. On a failure the torch is exhausted. Each inventory slot can hold two torches.
Lantern.
A metal lantern that burns oil. A lantern emits a [SPHERE 5] of dim light. At the end of each hour of use make a 4+ check. On a failure the lantern oil is exhausted. Each inventory slot can hold one lantern.
Lantern Oil.
Bright burning oil for a lantern. Each inventory slot can hold five refills worth of lantern oil.
Ration Pack.
A wrapped package of dried foods and water. Contains three days worth of food and water in each inventory slot. [SMALL] creatures consume half rations.
Bandage.
Soft, clean linen bandages. Can be used to [RESTORE] 1 point of health during rest. Each inventory slot can hold two bandages.
Spirits.
Strong spirits in a flask. Can be used to [RESTORE] 1 point of Sanity during rest. Each inventory slot can hold two flasks.
Quiver.
Holds 5 arrows or bolts. Takes up one inventory slot.
Pack Animal.
A pack animal is used to carry a large amount of equipment to a remote distance. Typical pack animals are donkeys, mules, or ponies. A pack animal has ten inventory slots.
8.2 Magical Equipment
Magical equipment is extremely rare and powerful equipment that is stronger than their mundane counterparts. Some magical equipment may even provide benefits to the character’s stats, or allow them to cast magic in special ways.
Masterwork Weapons
A masterwork weapon is an exceptional weapon made of a rare material that gives it special traits. While fairly rare, a good sized town will typically have one of these weapons for ceremonial purposes or in the collection of the local gentry. There are three types: Adamantine, Mithril, and Draconic

Adamantine
Dwarven smiths prize this ultra durable and heavy metal that makes weapons that can pierce the thickest armor. Weapons made of Adamantine have +1 [REND] and are typically worth 10 times their mundane cost.
Mithril
This ultra light and flexible metal is prized by the elves for its bright luster and exceptional bladed weapons. Weapons made of Mithril have the [FINESSE] trait and are typically worth 20 times their mundane cost.
Draconic
Draconic weapons are crafted from the remains of an ancient and powerful dragon. They made be made of horn, bone, claws, or teeth as appropriate to the weapon. Draconic weapons have +1 damage and are typically worth 30 times their mundane cost
Legendary Weapons
Legendary weapons are weapons enchanted with a permanent magical effect. They may be made of mundane materials, but may also be combined with Masterwork materials for extra potency. They are a singular work born of the creative efforts of an exceptional smith and a powerful mage. They feature in legends and stories of heros of some reknown. Legendary weapons are exceptionally rare, but might be found as feature in a monarch’s treasury or as the heritage of a powerful noble house. Legendary weapons are typically worth 50 times their base cost.

Masterwork Armor
Masterwork armor is made from rare and powerful materials that give it special traits. A full set of masterwork armor is exceptionally rare, similar to a legendary weapon.
Adamantine
Armor made of Adamantine have 1 point of damage reduction and are typically worth 50 times their mundane cost.
Mithril
Armor made of Mithril don’t have a penalty to Dodge Check DC and are typically worth 100 times their mundane cost.
Draconic
Armor made from Draconic components grant Resistance to a specific damage type and typically worth 150 times their mundane cost.
